In September 2009, Dr. Dan Wagner, founder and director of The World Health Vision, donated a shipment of supplies (including Glucose meters, strips, lancets, metformin, Tylenol, Multi-vitamins, Vitamin C, insulin, insulin syringes, amoxicillin, and Glucose support vitamins) to the Kokichi Otani Hospital inVilcabamba, Ecuador. Receiving the shipment is the Chief Medical Director, Dr, Jose Miguel Sanchez.

Dr. Dan Wagner is donating, on behalf of WHV, a shipment of diabetes supplies, diabetic drugs and supplements to the Fundacion Alberto Hidalgo Jarrin in Catamayo, Loja, Ecuador in May of 2009. The director of the foundation is Rita Salazar Moteros.
